Have you been so busy caring for others, that your self-care is the last on the list, and your self-care battery levels are running low?
Do you want easy- evidence based self- care practices you can do in your busy life to find your calm strength, recharge your self care battery, so you can go on caring for others?
Then join me on this half-day online retreat to learn evidence-based self-care practices that you can use on the go in your busy lives, to reset your stress and recharge your self-care battery. To give yourself permission to put on your own oxygen mask of self-care first , so that you can go on caring for others.
Dr. Robyn Charlton is a Lifestyle Psychiatrist, Mindful Self-Compassion meditation teacher, and Mindful Yin yoga teacher, who has had her own journey with stress and burnout. She will share evidence based self-care practices that have helped her from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy , Mindful Self-Compassion and Yin Yoga.
This three hour online retreat will include;
2.00- 4.00 p.m. What is burnout and what causes it, including the neuroscience behind caregiver fatigue and vicarious traumatisation. How Mindful Self-Compassion can help in coping with, and preventing burnout.
She will also introduce The MindFitness Method of Self- Care, which is taught through The SOARING system.
Seven evidence- based micro- self care practices you can practice during your everyday life . Research has shown that doing these micro- self care practices repeatedly during your day is just as effective as medtation to change the shape and function of your brain.
4.00- 5.00p.m. One hour MindFitness Yin yoga , which incorporates micro-mindfitness practices with yin, and takes you through The SOARING SYSTEM. It will include mindfulness gratitude and self- compassion.
This will be recorded, so if you cant attend in person, you can watch on-demand in your own time. The recording will be stopped at times for confidentiality of participants.
