About
Begin to Yin is the starting point of the MindFitness Yin Yoga Series — a slow, spacious introduction to the neurobiology of stillness. This five-class course explores the foundational principles of Yin Yoga through a nervous system–informed lens. You’ll learn how long-held, mindful shapes can help you shift from chronic stress and survival states into a felt sense of safety, while gently rewiring the brain through the power of presence and positive neuroplasticity. This isn’t about performance or flexibility. It’s about noticing what you feel, honouring what your body needs, and staying with what’s tolerable — so your system can begin to regulate, reset, and restore. Each class blends interoceptive awareness, polyvagal-informed pacing, and trauma-sensitive guidance to help you explore not just postures, but yourself. Over five sessions — Function Over Form, Playing Your Edge, Resolving to Be Still, Surrendering to Time, and The Power of Slow — you’ll build the foundations of a practice that isn’t just gentle… it’s transformative. Whether you’re recovering from burnout, stress, or simply longing for more space, Begin to Yin offers a new way of being with your body — one where stillness becomes strength, and what you savor begins to rewire you.
